The Role: National Sales Manager This role exists to lead and scale a national sales organisation, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive revenue growth and market expansion. The National Sales Manager will set and execute the national sales strategy, build strong regional leadership capability, and ensure consistent performance across all regions. The role combines strategic thinking, people leadership, and operational discipline to deliver results at scale. Key Responsibilities 58 years of senior sales leadership experience, leading and executing a national sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion Build, lead, and performance-manage regional sales leaders and their teams across South Africa Use market insights, data analytics, and performance trends to inform strategic sales decisions Establish a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement Build engaged, motivated, and resilient sales teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management Drive collaboration and alignment across sales, marketing, operations, and product teams Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders Oversee national sales rhythms, KPIs, forecasting, reporting, and budget alignment About You 58 years of senior sales leadership experience at the national or regional level Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and exceeding revenue targets Strong strategic capability with experience designing and executing national sales strategies Experience in real estate, digital platforms, online marketplaces, or classifieds is advantageous High emotional intelligence with a genuine passion for people development and leadership Strong business acumen with a data-driven approach to decision-making Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills Highly organised, disciplined, and administratively strong Tech-savvy, with solid proficiency in the MS Office Suite Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally

Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a relevant tertiary qualification, ideally a B. Com. Minimum 5 years experience in sales management or related field Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Must have experience managing distributors (Independent and Wholesale Market), key accounts, and sales teams Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action Target-driven with a strong understanding of market dynamics The successful candidate will be responsible for: Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business targets. Managing and expanding distributor and retail networks. Leading, coaching, and motivating the sales team to maximize performance. Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies. Ensuring effective in-market execution, visibility, and availability of products. Preparing sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews.
