About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, tech-savvy HOSPITALITY MANAGER to oversee a boutique portfolio of 30 stylish studio units in the heart of Cape Town. This is a modern, systems-driven role where technology handles the heavy lifting, allowing you to focus on high-level oversight, quality control, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Boom AI-powered booking platform
- Manage dynamic pricing suggestions
- Approve AI-generated review responses
- Manually input non-digital bookings
- Ensure all 30 studio units are maintained to an impeccable standard
- Manage the timely replacement of inventory and assets
- Take full ownership of the maintenance budget and process vendor payments
- Directly manage the Housekeeping Manager (who oversees the cleaning staff)
- Coordinate with third-party contractors for services like laundry
- Supervise technology-assisted check-in systems to ensure a seamless arrival for every guest
- Occasional social media posting and platform updates to keep the portfolio’s digital presence fresh
Requirements
- 2–3 years in Property or Hospitality Management
- Exceptional computer skills are non-negotiable
- A proven track record of loyalty (several years with a previous employer) is highly advantageous
- Ability to manage a portfolio independently and make fast, informed decisions
- A “sharp eye” for maintenance standards and organizational excellence
