Job Description
Prepare monthly management reports with detailed analysis
Prepare, load and release daily payments, including review of supporting schedules
Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Identify risks impacting distribution channels and assist with implementing mitigating controls
Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
Produce ad hoc reports and support finance led projects (e.g. IFRS related initiatives)
Automate reports where possible to improve efficiency and accuracy
Assist with external and internal audit processes
Present financial reports and analysis to executive level stakeholders
Support the understanding and implementation of commission and agreement structures
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within financial services
Exposure to the insurance industry – advantageous
Strong attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy
Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving ability
Able to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team
Proven ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Strong work ethic with a proactive, accountable mindset
Qualification:
BCom Degree in Accounting OR Finance OR related field – essential
