Company and Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join the Finance Control Team of a fast-paced, multi-national franchise business. This role plays a critical part in managing the full receivables cycle ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and adherence to financial compliance standards across a growing African footprint.
 
You’ll work closely with franchisees, internal departments, and the broader finance team to support high-quality financial reporting and uphold strong control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and track receivables across 16+ African countries
• Oversee collections and ensure timely follow-up in line with internal policies
• Ensure compliance with the Allowance for Doubtful Accounts (AFDA) policy
• Reconcile key income streams, including:
• Royalties, licensing, and franchise fees (initial/renewal/transfer)
• Advertising and supply chain contributions
• Franchise trade recoveries and third-party agreements
• Investigate and resolve account queries; maintain professional relationships with franchisees and internal teams
• Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes and reporting cycles
• Drive continuous improvements in billing processes, automation, and internal controls

Job Experience and Skills Required:
2–4 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable, finance operations, or reconciliations
Completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Global exposure would be beneficial
Strong Excel skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
JD Edwards or ERP system experience is an advantage
