Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Design Engineer with a strong background in solar plants to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in civil engineering, specifically within the context of solar energy projects. You will play a crucial role in designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of solar power facilities, ensuring they meet all regulatory and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop civil engineering plans for solar power plants, including site layout, grading, drainage, and foundation design.
- Conduct site assessments to determine suitability for solar projects, considering factors such as topography, soil conditions, and environmental impact.
- Collaborate with project managers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate civil design with overall project plans.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Oversee construction activities, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
- Perform quality control and quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) for design and analysis.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in solar energy and civil engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 2 years focused on solar energy projects.
- Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of solar power systems, including PV technology and solar farm infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
