WERE HIRING: CREDIT CONTROLLER Location: Johannesburg NorthA leading hospitality and travel group is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Controller to join their finance team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accurate allocation of payments received across various channels Actively collect payments in line with payment terms Assist consultants and related parties with Tourplan queries Review Debtors Age Analysis fortnightly and provide detailed feedback Attend monthly debtors review meetings with reservations managers Send invoices, account statements, and payment reminders to agents Escalate and resolve queries in line with internal processes Conduct monthly debtors reviews with Sales and DMC Managers and Directors Review unallocated cash weekly Debtors and weekly bank reconciliations Month-end processes Ad hoc finance duties as requiredKNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Strong Excel skills Sound understanding of general accounting principles Experience preparing debtors reconciliations and resolving queries Experience in a debtors department within the hospitality industry (advantageous) Knowledge of Tourplan (advantageous) SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES High attention to detail Determination and patience Excellent time management and communication skills Strong organisational and filing skills Team player
