Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Financial Models: Create and sustain models for investors, sponsors, financiers, and procuring agencies.
- Review and Amend Models: Update and manage existing financial models.
- Prepare Reports and Presentations: Produce detailed reports and presentations to support financial models.
- Perform Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct various analyses using financial models and datasets.
- Report and Agreement Preparation: Assist in the creation of reports and agreements based on financial model insights.
- Client and Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with clients, lenders, investors, contractors, engineers, legal advisors, and government agencies.
- Develop Modelling Competencies: Enhance the company’s financial modelling capabilities.
- New Business Development: Support new business initiatives, including tenders.
- Project Management: Assist with general project management tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Business Science (BBusSc) or B.Com degree in financial mathematics, accounting, or statistics.
- Strong financial modelling skills with high numerical accuracy.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VBA proficiency is desirable), Word, and PowerPoint.
