Our client is a leading JSE-listed property organisation with a strong national footprint and a reputation for excellence in asset management and value creation. They are seeking a seasoned Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join their high-performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead detailed financial variance analysis across portfolios, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities
• Develop, enhance, and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and long-term planning
• Drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across multiple business units
• Prepare and present comprehensive Board and Committee packs with meaningful financial insights and commentary
• Deliver accurate and timeous monthly management reports with actionable recommendations
• Partner with operational and asset management teams to optimise financial performance
• Support strategic decision-making through scenario analysis and business case evaluations
• Continuously improve reporting processes, controls, and financial planning frameworks

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

• BCom Honours in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (essential)

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in an FP&A, financial analysis, or similar strategic finance role
• Experience within property, real estate, asset management, or a listed environment (highly advantageous)
• Proven exposure to Board-level reporting and executive stakeholder engagement

Skills:

• Advanced financial modelling and strong analytical capability
• Strong variance analysis and forecasting expertise
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
