Key Responsibilities:
- Lead detailed financial variance analysis across portfolios, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and long-term planning
- Drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across multiple business units
- Prepare and present comprehensive Board and Committee packs with meaningful financial insights and commentary
- Deliver accurate and timeous monthly management reports with actionable recommendations
- Partner with operational and asset management teams to optimise financial performance
- Support strategic decision-making through scenario analysis and business case evaluations
- Continuously improve reporting processes, controls, and financial planning frameworks
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- BCom Honours in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (essential)
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an FP&A, financial analysis, or similar strategic finance role
- Experience within property, real estate, asset management, or a listed environment (highly advantageous)
- Proven exposure to Board-level reporting and executive stakeholder engagement
Skills:
- Advanced financial modelling and strong analytical capability
- Strong variance analysis and forecasting expertise
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
