As the Group CFO, your duties include the following:
Provide strategic financial leadership to the CEO, Executive Team and the Board of Directors
Ensure optimal capital structuring and long-term sustainability
Lead Finance and IT functions across the Group
Drive effective financial management and alignment with corporate strategies
Direct financial planning, budget, forecasting and KPI management to support profitability and growth objectives
Oversee cash flow management and investment returns
Consolidate budgets and business plans, delivering accurate reporting, insights, and performance analysis to stakeholders
Guide the development of tax, audit, and governance strategies to ensure integrity, transparency, and shareholder value
Oversee IT strategy and systems to enable accurate, timely financial reporting and data-driven decision making

Skills & Experience:
10-15 years of experience at group-level
Sound understanding of IT systems opportunities and limitations
Strong leadership and mentoring skills coupled with strategic thinking and entrepreneurial awareness
Deadline driven, pro-active and decisive
A flexible and practical approach to work
Ability to travel between the subsidiaries
Thorough understanding of cash management theory and techniques

Qualification:
Registered Chartered Accountant

Lead the development and execution of group-wide financial strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives
Oversee consolidated reporting, forecasting and budgeting, providing accurate insight for executive decision-making
Drive effective cash management, capital structuring, and investment decisions to optimise financial health and shareholder value
Manage financial risk, governance frameworks and compliance across all business units
Provide oversight of tax, audit, treasury and insurance functions, ensuring regulatory and stakeholder requirements are met
Mentor and lead a high-performing finance team, building succession pipelines and enhancing organisational capability
Partner with executive leadership to evaluate commercial opportunities, drive growth, and strengthen investor relations
Ensure IT and financial systems are robust, modern, and enable efficient, real-time financial and operational reporting

Skills & Experience:
CA(SA) OR CIMA qualified
At least 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience
Renewable energy, Mining, Construction, Manufacturing or equivalent industry experience
Significant exposure at executive or board level within complex, JSE listed organisations
Strong track record in strategic financial planning, capital management, and leading large finance teams.
Deep knowledge of IFRS, corporate governance, and risk management best practices.
Proven ability to influence at senior levels, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Demonstrated success in leading transformation and driving organisational performance

Qualification:
CA(SA) OR Fully Qualified ACMA, CGMA with CIMA
