Job Summary
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements across multiple entities
- Ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards (IFRS / IFRS for SMEs) and regulatory requirements
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across the group
- Drive group-wide financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making
- Manage statutory audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
- Monitor internal controls, financial policies, and risk management processes
- Ensure accurate intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Oversee tax planning, VAT, and corporate income tax compliance
- Provide strategic financial input to group leadership and play a key role in board reporting
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals across business units
Requirements:
- Qualified CA(SA) or equivalent
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in a senior finance role, with exposure to group structures and consolidations
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory frameworks
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and commercial acumen
