About the Role
Our client is a dynamic organisation with interests across high-value commodity and investment sectors. With an expanding footprint and ambitious growth strategy, the business requires a strong finance leader to oversee group reporting, strengthen financial controls, and provide strategic support on investment and acquisition initiatives. The Group Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring accurate consolidated reporting, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing meaningful commercial insights to Exco.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee group reporting and consolidated financial statements across multiple entities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, Exco packs, and board-level reporting
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Provide variance analysis and commercial insights to improve profitability and decision-making
- Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital optimisation, and financial controls
- Support investment evaluations, financial due diligence, and deal structuring for acquisitions
- Manage audit processes and ensure compliance with IFRS and governance requirements
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and finance transformation projects
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team while partnering with key stakeholders across the business
Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification is essential
- Minimum 8–12 years post-articles experience in a Group Finance / Financial Management role
- Strong experience in consolidated reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
- Exposure to investment analysis, due diligence, acquisitions, or deal structuring is highly advantageous
