Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pricing, reserving, and capital modelling for non-life insurance clients
• Develop and maintain actuarial models and data tools using Excel, SQL, R, or Python
• Support regulatory reporting (SAM and IFRS 17) and risk management assignments
• Prepare reports, insights, and presentations for Senior Actuaries and stakeholders

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BSc / BCom Actuarial Science or a related Degree (minimum requirement)
• Minimum of 7 actuarial exams (ASSA / IFoA)
• 3+ years’ experience in short-term / non-life insurance or actuarial consulting
• Advanced technical proficiency in Excel, with working knowledge of SQL, R, or Python
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and confident communication skills
• South African citizenship or valid right to work in South Africa
