About the Role
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Guide Trainer / Assistant Trainer for a prestigious luxury safari tour company in Botswana. This role offers an exciting chance to contribute to the development of future field guides in an incredible safari destination, where you will have the opportunity to share your passion for conservation and the African bush with others.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the training and development of new guides to meet industry standards
- Mentor junior guides and provide ongoing feedback and support
- Conduct training sessions and practical field exercises
- Ensure guides are up to date with the latest safety protocols, guiding techniques, and regulations
- Help maintain training materials and update as needed
- Contribute to maintaining a high standard of guest experience and safety
Requirements
- FGASA NQF Level 4 certification
- Assistant Trails Guide qualification
- Actively pursuing Advanced Field Guide certification
- At least 3 years of relevant guiding experience
- Strong communication and training skills
