We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Project Accountant to join our team on a short-term contract for two months. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full project accounting function from A to Z, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. The key responsibilities for this role will include:
 

• General Ledger Management: Handle all aspects of general ledger management and ensure that entries are accurate and timely.
• Journal Entries: Prepare, review, and post journal entries, ensuring they align with accounting standards.
• Reconciliations: Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy in reporting and balance sheet integrity.
• Full Project Accounting Function: Oversee the financial aspect of projects, ensuring correct accounting for project costs and revenues.
• Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, identifying trends and providing insights.
• Support: Assist with other accounting-related tasks as needed, ensuring deadlines are met.

 
As you will be required to hit the ground running extensive experience is essential.
 
The requirements:
 
 
Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

 
 
Experience:
 

• Proven experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience in accounting functions such as ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
• Previous experience working in a high-pressure environment is essential.
• Strong project accounting experience is a must.

 
 
Skills Required:
 

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A positive, proactive attitude, always willing to go the extra mile.
