Job Summary
- Oversee VAT, Withholding Tax, , and Corporate Tax compliance for all African operations.
- Review, prepare, and submit tax returns and disclosures on time, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Manage timely tax payments and coordinate with relevant authorities to resolve queries.
- Lead tax audit processes and support external auditors during year-end reviews.
- Facilitate tax compliance training for finance teams to ensure up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes.
- Analyze monthly tax movements and assist with SOX audit controls and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Relevant accounting or tax qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CTA) essential.
- 5+ years’ experience in corporate tax compliance, preferably across multiple African jurisdictions.
- Strong understanding of VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, and gaming tax compliance.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external tax authorities.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
