Smartstuff Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic Afrikaans FAL Teacher to join their team of online educators. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Afrikaans lessons to students in an online format.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that leverage technology to enhance learning.
- Create and manage online course materials, including lesson plans, assignments and assessments.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support to ensure academic success.
- Facilitate interactive and collaborative learning experiences through virtual platforms.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in Afrikaans education and online teaching methodologies.
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or undergrad with relevant PGCE
- SACE registration is essential
- Experience with the IEB curriculum is highly advantageous
