Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Johannesburg, South Africa
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking a highly talented and experienced Operations Manager to join our client`s team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management and a proven track record of successfully leading a team to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
– Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient running of the business
– Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and efficiency
– Manage and motivate a team of operational staff, including training, coaching, and performance management
– Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
– Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordination and alignment of operational activities
– Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on operational performance and initiatives
Requirements:
– Degree in relevant subject
– Minimum 5 years working in Operations Management role
– Excellent knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics principles
– Preferably experience of Operational Excellence programme implementation
– Strong leadership skills
– Can do attitude and approach, focussed on pragmatic solutions
– Demonstrable influencing skills
– Thorough knowledge of regulations concerning safety and quality standards
