About the Role
Our client, a leading player in the financial services sector with offices in both Pretoria and Bellville, is seeking a meticulous Finance Administrator/Bookkeeper to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to manage key financial functions, supporting a fast-paced environment and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping and Administration: Perform full bookkeeping function to trial balance.
- Invoicing and Billing: Handle preparation and processing of all billing and invoices.
- Accounts Management: Manage debtor and creditor accounts, including reconciliation and payment processing.
- Cash Flow: Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow forecasting and management.
- Compliance: Assist with statutory reporting and tax submissions.
- Expense Management: Process and reconcile staff expenses and company credit cards.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports for management.
- General Duties: Handle general office administration and filing.
Requirements
- Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance is essential.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar Bookkeeping or Finance Administrator role.
- Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel. Experience with an established ERP system (e.g., Pastel, SAP, Oracle) is highly advantageous.
- Attributes: Strong numerical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and proven ability to work independently. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
