Job Description

Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a reputable Civil Engineering Plant Hire company and together seeking a skilled Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic for their mechanical workshop in Polokwane.

As an Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of heavy machinery used in construction, mining, and other industries. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of earthmoving equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine servicing and maintenance tasks on earthmoving equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
Replace faulty parts as needed
Ensure efficient operation of machinery to minimize downtime
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Trade Test Red Seal Certificate
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and related components
Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in earthmoving equipment
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Valid driver’s license
