WatersEdge Solutions is looking for a Power Query Developer (Excel Specialist) to join a high-impact, remote-first team supporting a leading US healthcare organisation. This role is ideal for an Excel expert with a sharp eye for detail, deep knowledge of Power Query and M Language, and a drive to build smart, automated dashboards.

About the Role

Youll focus on delivering precision-driven, customised Excel-based solutions using Power Query and M Language. The role also involves KPI dashboard design, automation, and reporting optimisation that supports data-led decision-making across the business. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams and operate in a fully remote capacity on USA EST hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise advanced Power Query solutions using M Language, primarily in Excel

• Design and implement automated KPI dashboards for reporting efficiency

• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and create tailored Excel-based solutions

• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across reports and dashboards

What Youll Bring

• Extensive experience in Power Query and M Language development, specifically in Excel

• Strong Excel expertise with automation, dashboard creation, and Power Query use

• Proficiency in DAX and familiarity with Power BI (advantageous)

• Strong dashboard and report design capabilities

• Excellent written English and communication skills

• Highly organised with great attention to detail

• Strong time management and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment

• A collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience designing visually impactful dashboards

• Familiarity with broader data tools and automation platforms
