About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process, Quality, and Trainee Assistant to join our team at Baires Plastics in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will assist us in achieving operational business targets while contributing to the growth and success of our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and reviewing all Standard Operating Procedures
- Ensuring customer-specific standards are incorporated into internal procedures and conducting effective training for applicable staff
- Correct recording and filing of all relevant records, logs, and documentation
- Monitoring and proposing areas of improvement on OEE by performing machine capability studies, drafting design layouts to maximize efficiency, identifying bottlenecks in the factory, and performing time and motion studies
- Completing MSA, Gauge R&R as required to plan corrective actions to resolve quality issues using the G8D tool
- Participating in launching new projects (PPAP)
- Providing 6’S knowledge and support
Requirements
- Matric
- At least 3 years of working experience, preferably within an automotive production environment
- Knowledge of QMS (ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949)
