Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that all cloud projects are delivered within the defined financial parameters. Allocate resources effectively, managing internal and external teams, vendors, and partners to meet project goals. Forecast resource needs and manage project timelines to prevent delays and ensure successful delivery. Cloud Strategy & Innovation: Work closely with senior leaders to define long-term cloud strategies for financial systems and digital transformation initiatives. Identify emerging cloud technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements. Performance Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of cloud projects. Produce detailed reports for senior management, outlining project performance, challenges, and opportunities. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, or Cloud-related) is a plus. Experience: 5 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure or cloud migration projects, ideally within the financial services sector . Proven experience working with cloud service providers such as AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud . In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture , cloud security , and cloud operations . Strong background in financial services regulations and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR). Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies and how to apply them in a cloud context. Technical Skills: Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Familiarity with cloud migration strategies , automation tools, and DevOps practices. Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for cloud computing in the financial services industry. Proficient in project management tools such as Jira , Trello , or MS Project . Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across technical and business teams. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex projects effectively. Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
