REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Matric Trade Test Supervisor’s Course , Quality Basics 2-5 Years Exp as a fitter KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Supervision of PFS staff Pump Fitting Quality control in PFS Expediting DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY: Assembly , disassembly & repairs of pumps & components. Testing of SWP/SBP and gear pumps after assembly Ensure that correct parts are used on assemblies. Ensure that workmanship in Fitting Shop is of a high standard Ensuring section staff obey procedures and policies as set out by management He must ensure Rapid’s tools and equipment are not abused and are kept in good working condition Quality Control in the Fitting Shop Managing the pressure testing function of pump parts. Managing the welding activities & base plate alignment function. Managing the spray painting functions in the company. Administration of section & staff. Carry out any work or duty as required by management, that he is capable of doing, that is in the interest of the Company’s profitability.
