About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Human Resource Manager to join our team at Liham Consulting Pty (Ltd) in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR policies, managing recruitment and training initiatives, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining HR policies and internal procedures and processes as well as ensuring compliance and provide training.
- Recruit, select, and place staff in coordination with the recruitment department and in line with our Employment Equity plan.
- Coordinate Training and development of staff.
- Compile HR department budget according to HR standards and BUs manpower budget and detail analysis of monthly variances in managing these.
- Conduct research and develop short- and medium-term plans for the regions HR functionality.
- Maintain personnel records and administer conditions and benefits related to conditions found in a diversified group governed by different Bargaining Councils.
- Develop and implement Human Resources communication strategies.
- Process & procedures and policies in the framework of Personnel Services.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management
- Post degree qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years relevant HR experience in a unionized HR environment
- Must come from transport or motor industry
- Minimum of five years’ experience been in a managerial position.
- Knowledge of computerized systems such as HR, Payroll and Time & Attendance systems will be required.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and Main Agreements.

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management
