Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming stock and deliveries.
- Verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Record and maintain detailed logs of received goods.
- Report and manage discrepancies, damaged products, or shortages.
- Collaborate with the stockroom and sales teams to ensure efficient inventory control.
- Ensure all received goods are stored properly and in a timely manner.
- Assist in cycle counting and stock management.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required by the job.
