About the Role

We are a respected media business operating in a competitive, fast-paced environment. Our focus is on commercial growth, strong governance, operational excellence and delivering consistent value to clients and shareholders. We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain informal and formal communication with existing clients about project scopes budget and timelines
Obtain client feedback on the services delivered
Receive clear and written specifications of advert requirements from clients
Respond to briefs
Present service pricing and costs to potential clients
Accurately communicate and sell outdoor opportunities to potential clients
Liaise with the production teams to deliver outdoor advertisement
Follow up on sales leads
Follow up with customers, compete orders and process sales leads
Work cooperatively with clients and for the business, to meet operational and team objectives
Prepare proposal and schedules according to the brief
Handle orders, complaints and other enquiries from clients
Provide general administrative support to the Exco as directed
Perform data entry when orders are completed or changed
Process sales and data progress reports
Respond to emails, phone calls and others forms of correspondence
Ensure all client information is correct
Adhere to departmental confidentiality and compliance standards
Quality check the advert in terms of printing, flighting and POF
Report daily and or weekly on new and repeat business sales
Capture a log of clients contacted (declined and on-boarded) on Assetsphere / other available system
Post campaign reports/case studies for existing clients

Requirements

Matric or similar qualification NQF 4
Certificate/ Diploma in Advertising, Sales and Marketing or similar qualification
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
2 – 3 years experience in a sales role with a proven track record
6 – 12 months telemarketing experience
Sales experience in a marketing and advertising industry
Knowledge of the media market
