About the Role
Our client in the Box Manufacturing / Packaging industry is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team in Industria West, Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience and excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of achieving sales profitability and growth within an assigned territory and/or market segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services.
- Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers.
- Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
- Demonstrates company’s products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
- Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
- Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
- Keeps records of weekly action plans, daily travel log sheet, weekly key clients reports, complete customer profiles and any documents requested from office.
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of sales experience in Packaging
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team working and customer service skills
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Diploma in Marketing (advantageous)
