About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Team Leader to lead and drive performance within our Mobile and ICT B2B sales team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of sales agents, achieving revenue targets, developing team capability, and ensuring excellent client engagement within a fast-paced telecommunications environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales agents to achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular coaching and development to improve results
- Support the team in advancing and closing B2B Mobile and ICT opportunities
- Manage team attendance, conduct, and overall engagement
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reporting
- Handle client escalations and support negotiations on larger deals
- Drive a high-performance sales culture through motivation and leadership
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
Matric (Grade 12)
2–3 years’ experience in a Sales Team Leader role within Telecommunications or ICT
Proven experience managing a B2B telecom sales team
Experience closing medium to large business deals
