About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our client’s team at a leading logistics company based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights and drive data-based decision making for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize and analyze data from various sources within the organization
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into meaningful insights and visualizations
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the reports and dashboards
- Optimize and streamline existing reports and dashboards for improved performance and usability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve the reporting capabilities of the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Power BI in a business intelligence or analytics role
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying
- Experience with data modeling and building complex Power BI reports and dashboards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with business stakeholders
