SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: SAP Basis including: SAP NetWeaver AS Abap & AS Java, Performance tuning SAP HANA 2.0 SAP BW4HANA & BWonHANA SAP Data Provisioning Agent HANA Conversions, HANA Redistribution and Scale Up / Scale Out Skills, HANA Parameterization SAP, HANA & Oracle Upgrades and Patching Advanced Oracle & HANA Database administration SAP IQ Cloud Based Solutions: Amazon Web Services Advanced SuSe Linux Operating System administration Incident Management (IM), Change Management (CM), Problem Management (PM), ITSM suite, ITIL process knowledge & work experience Agile Methodology, JIRA, X Ray, Confluence Debugging skills Agile Working Model ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS: SAP S4 HANA SAP Solution Manager SAP Analytics Cloud HANA XS-C/XS-A Developments SAP Security & Cloud Security experience SAP Cloud Connector SAP Web Dispatcher Avantra Monitoring Linux Scripting Strong attention to detail, organising skills and analytical & problem-solving abilities QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE Min 1 year experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Azure 8 years SAP Basis experience SAP BW4/HANA (HA200) knowledge practical system knowledge of at least 3 years. 8 Years knowledge & experience with SAP ABAP and JAVA based systems on NetWeaver release. 8 Years knowledge & experience with SAP Backups. Good Knowledge of Linux file Systems, Linux commands & scripting. Good Understanding of Networks, Firewalls & Ports. Knowledge & Experience with Apache Tomcat and Apache httpd Experience with SAP system health checks, dump/trace analysis and monitoring tools. Understanding and application of standard ITPM framework. Experience across all SAP modules (advantage) ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operations 2nd and 3rd level support for incidents (troubleshooting and resolving) Action and resolve IM (Incident Management) tickets as required. Raise and lead tasks PM (Problem Management) tickets as identified. Action and coordinate CM (Change Management) tasks and tickets as required. Create and update management and technical documents in Confluence. Standby, shift work and public holiday work required Support with Go Live preparation and support during Go Live (could be on weekends, late evenings) Support DevOps teams with issues Planning, creation and updating of epics and user stories in JIRA for sprints. Update Resolve IT Projects Ensure that all processes have been investigated / considered in obtaining the specifications of the user requirements. Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives in line with Group standards. Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements Preparation of system/technical documentation/Master Solutions/Operations Handbooks (as per ISO standards) SAP Kernel and SPS updates SAP Release Upgrades SAP Parameter adjustments OS Patching and Upgrades Apache Tomcat/httpd installation, updates, and patching SAP Migrations (Cloud and Hardware) Any additional responsibilities assigned
