Hire Resolve’s Client is urgently seeking a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their team in Johannesburg.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing complex actuarial analysis and providing valuable insights to support business decision-making. You will work closely with the actuarial team and other stakeholders to develop and implement financial models and strategies.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret insurance data to provide insights and recommendations
Perform actuarial valuations and calculations to support financial reporting and planning
Develop and maintain financial models to assess risks and estimate future outcomes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business performance and address key challenges
Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise Manner

Requirements

Qualified or nearly qualified actuary with relevant professional qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in actuarial analysis
Strong knowledge of actuarial concepts and methodologies
Proficiency in using actuarial software and programming languages such as Prophet, R, or Python
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
