Job Description

Are you a skilled electrician with a passion for precision and problem-solving? This is your opportunity to take on a senior, hands-on role leading complex electrical installations and control panel builds for commercial and HVAC projects.

In this pivotal role, you will design, assemble, and maintain advanced electrical systems from safety circuits and voltage protection to PLC integration and VSD programming. Working closely with the Operations and Technical Services team, youll ensure every installation meets national safety standards and exceeds client expectations.

What Youll Do

Design and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Build and wire complex refrigeration and HVAC control panels.
Implement safety circuits, voltage protection, and PLC inputs/outputs (230v/24v/12v).
Configure PLC control using 010v signals and execute VSD wiring and programming.
Conduct inspections, fault finding, and compliance testing.
Supervise installations and provide technical guidance to the electrical team.
Ensure all systems comply with SANS and industry safety codes.

What You Bring

NQF Level 45 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Wiremans license in HVAC (advantageous).
Minimum 8 years experience as an electrician, including at least 3 years in control panel wiring.
Hands-on experience with refrigeration control systems, PLCs, and VSDs.
Strong understanding of safety, voltage protection, and control circuits.
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites.
