Johannesburg: Senior Estimator

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for HVAC installations, upgrades, and maintenance projects. Analyse tender documentation, specifications, and engineering drawings. Conduct site visits and assessments to ensure correct scoping of work. Work closely with engineering, design, and procurement teams to compile competitive proposals. Source material and equipment pricing from suppliers and negotiate best value. Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and tender submissions. Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving strategies. Support project handover to operations once work is awarded. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry pricing, trends, and standards. Requirements National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (advantageous). Minimum 58 years experience as an Estimator within the HVAC or mechanical services industry. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, piping, and mechanical installations. Proven track record preparing estimates for commercial & industrial projects. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
