You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing network systems while ensuring security and reliability for business-critical operations. With your strong technical foundation, 5 years of network engineering experience (at least 2 in a specialist role), and deep knowledge of Cisco, ACI, and related technologies, you’ll be part of a team shaping the future of digital connectivity. DUTIES: Network Design & Implementation – Architect and deploy robust networking solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements. Maintenance & Optimization – Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuous uptime. Security Management – Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection, and other security protocols. Project Leadership – Lead end-to-end network projects from planning to delivery, managing timelines and resources. Capacity Planning – Analyze growth trends to anticipate future requirements and scale infrastructure. Mentorship – Support and guide junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Vendor & Stakeholder Management – Collaborate with vendors and negotiate for hardware/software solutions aligned with business goals. Documentation & Compliance – Maintain accurate documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory and audit requirements. REQUIREMENTS: 3-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years in a specialist capacity. Proven expertise in Cisco ACI design, configuration, and troubleshooting (multi-pod fabric, APIC management, firmware upgrades). Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, SQL, and automation tools to enhance efficiency. Ability to troubleshoot and deploy VxLAN networks. Experience supporting large-scale data centres and complex enterprise networking environments. CERTIFICATIONS (advantageous): Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or CCIE. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE). VMware VCP-NV or VCAP-NV Design. Aruba ACMX / Certified Wireless Design Professional (CWDP).
