Job Summary

As a Senior procurement officer, you will be responsible for the following: onduct regular reviews of procurement policies; recommend improvements for greater efficiency and compliance. Lead and oversee the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for high-value events and initiatives. Provide expert procurement support across departments, ensuring governance and value for money. Manage supplier onboarding and ensure all compliance documentation (BBBEE certificates, tax clearance, etc.) is up to date. Benchmark key expense categories; identify opportunities for cost savings and enhanced supplier value. Negotiate volume-based rebate programs to improve profitability and cost efficiency. Configure payroll systems to ensure accurate classification and coding for compliance and internal reporting. Prepare and submit payroll reports, reconciliations, amendments, and variance analyses for managerial review and sign-off. Support departments in acquiring goods and services efficiently while maintaining compliance with internal policies. Assist suppliers through the RFP, onboarding, and compliance processes. Respond to ad hoc requests from management in a timely and professional manner. Monitor internal BBBEE targets and scoring; flag risks that may jeopardize compliance. Ensure corrective feedback is given to Managers where procurement policies are not followed. What Do You Need?: A relevant BCom degree . Minimum 3 years of working experience in a procurement-related role. Additional certifications in procurement are a strong advantage. Excellent knowledge of payroll, taxation, and accounting regulations . Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with keen attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.). APPLY NOW! Job Summary

The Senior Procurement Officer is a key member of the procurement team, responsible for leading and managing all procurement activities within Resolution Circle. This role involves the development and execution of effective procurement strategies that drive cost savings, ensure operational efficiency, and support the organizations strategic objectives. As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for: Conduct regular reviews of procurement policies and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, compliance, and value. Oversee the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for high-value Provide procurement guidance and support to Department Ensure adherence to procurement procedures and provide corrective feedback to managers when non-compliance is identified. Manage the onboarding process for regular suppliers and ensure all compliance documentation (e.g., BBBEE certificates, tax clearance) is kept up to date annually. Continuously benchmark key expense categories and identify opportunities for cost savings or improved supplier value. Proactively negotiate volume-based rebate programs with suppliers to enhance cost efficiency and profitability. Configure the payroll system to ensure accurate employee classification and transaction coding for both statutory compliance and internal management reporting. Prepare and submit comprehensive payroll reports, including reconciliations, amendments, and variance analyses, for review and sign-off by relevant managers. Stakeholder Engagement & Operational Support Enable departments to procure goods and services cost-effectively and in line with company policies, while ensuring governance and compliance. Support suppliers through the RFP process, onboarding, and ongoing compliance maintenance, including the annual collection of updated BBBEE certificates. Respond to ad hoc requests from management promptly and professionally. Compliance & Risk Management Monitor and support compliance with internal BBBEE targets and scoring requirements, flagging risks to managers where actions may jeopardize compliance. Learning & Growth Attend external training and industry workshops (minimum 10 hours per year) to stay current with legislative, tax, system, and procurement developments. Participate in internal team, departmental, and stakeholder meetings to remain informed on company developments and priorities. Proactively plan personal development and training to support effective job performance and lifelong learning goals. Contribute actively to team problem-solving sessions and innovation discussions to foster a culture of continuous improvement and a positive work environment. Take ownership of knowledge-sharing within your role and department to support long-term team and organizational growth. What do you need: Relevant B. Com degree. Minimum 3 years working experience. Additional certifications in Procurement are an advantage. Excellent knowledge of payroll, taxation and accounting regulations. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills, mathematical comprehension and data analysis, good verbal and written communications skills and good organizational skills. An established organisation is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer/Manager with a strong background in payroll, procurement, and compliance. This is a key role supporting finance operations, ensuring efficient processes and accurate financial execution. As the Senior Procurement Officer / Financial Controller, youll play a key role in driving financial efficiency, ensuring compliance, and supporting a growing business. Job Summary

As the Senior Procurement Officer, you will manage the procurement department to ensure that the right products and stock are available at the right time, price and branch. This role reports directly to the Managing Director. Key Duties Include: Management of buying and procurement staff and departments Ensure the effective delivery of procurement plans Set performance targets for the procurement department Manage and strengthen the strategic procurement plan and execute strategic partnerships with stakeholders Analyse stock trends and stock turnover Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements or changes Suggest import stock for branches Manage procurement processes for effective stock holding Resolve stock shortage issues Ensure compliance with ISO and B-BBEE as well as legislative compliance, and assist Auditors as required Identify cost-saving opportunities Stock management Education Requirements: Completed Matric (Grade 12) Relevant tertiary qualification in procurement preferred Job Requirements and Skills: 7 to 8 years’ experience within a senior procurement role 2 to 3 years management experience essential Experience within electrical, alternative energy or industrial industries essential Strong imports experience and knowledge essential Strong MS Excel skills Kerridge or K8, or similar industry system experience Deadline driven Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team player Apply now!
