About the Role
Our client in the industrial / manufacturing services industry is looking to employ a Senior Workshop Assistant to join their team based in Johannesburg. As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing and production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing and maintaining products according to specifications
- Service and installation of all products where necessary
- Any ad-hoc duties to be performed either at the premises or on customer sites
- Identify any potential production issues and communicate an early prevention warning
- Ensure that products are produced on time and are of good quality
- Work carried out on time
Requirements
- Grade 12 (with English & Mathematics) or equivalent
- Min 2 Years working experience as Junior Workshop Assistant
- Or Min 4 years working experience technical, electrical or industrial working experience
- Technical Trade Certificate
- Technical Valid South African Drivers License
- Ability to work with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to weld (welding qualification an advantage)
- Ability to work at heights (Working at Heights qualification necessary)
- Risk Assessment qualification
- First Aid Level 1
- Ability to understand, interpret and implement technical instructions
