About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Short-Term Commercial Lines Broker to join our esteemed client’s team in Sandton, Johannesburg. As a key member of the broking team, you will be responsible for placing, managing, and servicing commercial insurance portfolios across various industries, ensuring compliance with FAIS and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess business risks and structure appropriate insurance programmes
- Prepare quotations, renewals, and policy documentation
- Negotiate terms, cover, and premiums with insurers and underwriters
- Ensure full compliance with FAIS, FICA, and internal procedures
- Provide ongoing client service, advice, and claims support
Requirements
- RE5 (or working towards) FAIS compliant (Class of Business Commercial Lines)
- Proven experience in short-term commercial insurance
- Strong technical, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
- Own vehicle with valid driver’s license
Qualifications
