? Minimum Requirements

Relevant Finance Degree (essential)
Completed SAICA articles OR solid auditing/reporting background
Experience within manufacturing / distribution / importing environments advantageous
Strong technical accounting knowledge and full accounting function exposure
Experience with international transactions, foreign creditors, and Forex
Strong understanding of monthend processes, reporting, and compliance
Ability to lead and develop a small accounting team
Meticulous, organised, and able to thrive in a deadlinedriven environment

? Key Responsibilities

As the Financial Accounting Team Lead, you will oversee and manage the full accounting function, including:

Leading and mentoring the accounting team
Managing the full creditors, debtors, and general ledger processes
Handling foreign suppliers, Forex payments, and international reconciliations
Preparing accurate monthend, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Overseeing cashbook, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations
Supporting audits and liaising with external auditors
Implementing process improvements and supporting operational teams where required
