Job Description
This role is based in Heidelberg.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse production costs to ensure accurate financial reporting and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Prepare and update customer costings to support pricing strategies and profitability insights.
- Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including managing and reconciling debtors and creditors.
- Support month-end closing activities through the preparation of reports, reconciliations, and journals.
- Monitor departmental spending against budgets and highlight any variances for management review.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom or Diploma in Finance.
- 3–5 years’ relevant accounting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience in a manufacturing or cost-focused environment will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Syspro or similar ERP systems will be an advantage.
