Job Summary
- Communicate daily with Risk Managers, senior risk leaders, and traders.
- Generate and analyse daily risk reports, including profit and loss (P&L) reports of trading desks.
- Assist with enhancing systems and reporting processes to support accurate and efficient data delivery.
- Identify discrepancies or potential issues proactively and ensure their timely resolution.
- Present risk findings and complex issues in a clear, concise manner to internal stakeholders.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and support as required by the risk team.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical preferred).
- Experience: Ideally some experience in a risk or trading environment, though driven graduates with the right skill set will be considered.
- Skills: Strong analytical and numerical abilities; proficiency in Excel and a logical mindset; and programming (e.g., Python or SQL) is advantageous.
- Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a high-pressure, high-accuracy environment.
