About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Technical Sales Representative within the IWT Division, operating in the Petrochemical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting technical sales activities, maintaining customer relationships, ensuring optimal performance of applications and equipment, and contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Retain and expand business to grow sales and profit margins to achieve business objectives
- Ensure existing applications and equipment are maintained and technical services are performed to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain and improve SHERQ performance to deliver targeted sales at the lowest possible risk to the company
- Support the Account manager in managing and implementing Continuous Improvements and Projects
Requirements
- A Degree or National Diploma or equivalent in Chemistry/ Biochemistry / Microbiology / Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering
- A minimum of 2 years technical sales or 10 years relevant experience within the Petrochemical Industry
- Exposure to/ Experience in the following will be a significant advantage:
- Petrochemical Process treatment
- Boiler water treatment
- Raw water flocculation treatment
- Cooling water treatment
- Liquid/solid separation
Qualifications
- A Degree or National Diploma or equivalent in Chemistry/ Biochemistry / Microbiology / Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering
