Job Summary
Want to start the new year in a new role with one of the biggest banks in South Africa then this one is for you, we are currently in search for a Solutions Architect to be part on the biggest investment banking financial institutions. In this role you will have to design, recommend and govern implementation of solutions across the bank to address business needs and solve business problems. Manage change process and establish overall solutions architecture and frameworks. Be the first one to Grab this opportunity start applying Technical Knowledge: Work experience, diploma / degree in business / IT environment. Minimum of 7 years working experience in Java environments working as a Technical Solutions Architect AWS Cloud (migration of applications to the cloud, deployment on AWS, development on AWS, other cloud knowledge and experience) Java 7 & 8, Functional Java Backend & Frontend experience and knowledge REST services, RESTful APIs Java Logging frameworks / Java Persistence Framework Jersey RESTful Web Services Framework JMS / JMS 2 / JEE 7 / CI/CD JSON and XML with Schema HTTP Authentication, Encryption with SSL SQL with DB2, Postgres and Oracle EJB2/3/CLI Knowledge of Apache & WebLogic 12.1.3 Server Git with Bitbucket, Code versioning (Git/SVN) Jenkins with Build Pipelines
Responsibilities:
Devise and implement IT innovations or methodologies that achieve efficiencies and reduce cost based on time, risk and process Provide guidance in architecting solutions that yield the highest return on investments. Deliver a service which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service. Maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders ensuring appropriate IT solutions are developed Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers and senior staff members by providing input to business requirements Collaborate with and transfer knowledge with internal and external teams Provide functional expertise to troubleshoot highly complex problems, or present/market new technology or solutions for business Establish architectural standards and frameworks and assess functional and process risks on projects by collaborating with other architects to translate the customers requirements Identify, justify and design a specific solution that meets business requirements Provide guidance to operations teams and other architects on the design, development, and testing of a new solution, and work with assigned project teams to ensure a smooth implementation of changes to existing systems Implement all technical support request escalated and ensure effective resolution within the Service Level Agreement Reference Number for this position is GZ59896 which is a permanent position based in Sandton offering a cost to company salary of R1.7m per annum
