Requirements:
20 years trade tested / qualified boilermaker Proficient in interpreting and working from technical drawings Strong MiG welding skills (essential) Experience in mechanical fitment and mechanical assembly Excellent people skills & team player Valid drivers license Healthy, physically work fit & able to pass a medical Proficient in Afrikaans & English Age 45 55 Positive attitude, be well organized & have strong work ethic Essential Skills &
Responsibilities:
Extensive experience in boiler making, fitting and mechanical assembly MiG welding proficiency is essential (will be tested). TIG welding a bonus Skilled in mechanical fitment and assembly of components Able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and fabrication sketches Confident in layout work, cutting, bending, grinding, assembling and fitting Competent in using hand and power tools, presses, and measuring equipment etc Quality-focused with attention to detail Work both independently on completing a job as well as be part of a team to complete tasks Confidence & willing to do on-site work independently and think on ones feet Ability to communicate well with customers & represent the company in a favourable & positive manner Ability to positively delegate work when necessary Ability to guide, nature, motivate and develop less skilled team members Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times
