Job Summary
Hire Resolve`s client, a leading steel company in Johannesburg that specializes in container conversions, is looking for a committed and motivated Welder/Production Manager. This position entails planning project objectives, overseeing project execution, and efficiently managing resources.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage project resources effectively.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures using various welding techniques.
- Supervise the on-site team and oversee project progress.
- Ensure project targets and deadlines are met.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain safety standards.
- Liaise with clients regarding project updates.
- Read and interpret blueprints and manage administrative processes.
Requirements:
- Matric Certificate or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience as a welder or in a similar position.
- Qualification in Production Management.
- Valid driver`s license.
- At least 3 years of experience in welding or site supervision.
- Familiarity with the steel industry.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in report writing.
- Leadership skills in production management.
- Commitment to high standards in execution.
