JOB FUNCTIONThe Engineering Manager is a qualified Industrial or Mechanical Engineer who will cost, implement and manage gas installation projects for the company, including on-site responsibilities. REQUIREMENTSQUALIFICATIONSGrade 12 MatricA degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering EXPERIENCEAt least 10 years of project management Practical experience working in the natural gas, oil, power generation or similar industry Experience in working on power generation projects with an understanding of efficiencies of various fuel sources, etcPractical experience in project implementation, including on-site responsibilities.Supply chain management and experience.Knowledge, understanding and implementation of Health & Safety regulations in an industrial environment including a hazardous environment such as fuel and gas.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Overall project managementCosting of power generation, gas supply & supply chain projectsManagement of the companys supply chain and logisticsRecruiting and managing engineering staff.Costing, layout, and design of new customer sites & Distribution Depots throughout Southern AfricaActing as the Health & Safety Officer of the companySalary is neg up to R1.5 million pa, Des Machill – Uptime Recruitment
