Job Summary
Hire Resolves client in the mining industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Crusher Production Supervisor in the Northern Cape.
Responsibilities:
- Compliance with all safety regulations as set out in the mines policies
- Ensure incident and accident investigations are done within the framework of SOPs
- Monitor and Develop Safety Systems as per MHSA, COPs and SOPs
- Initiate Crushing and screening processes
- Ensuring targets are achieved
- Oversee loading and hauling from the crushing pad
- Responsible to ensure that settings are correctly set for Jaw and Cone Crushers
- Supply the Crushing Manager with relevant information on machine breakdowns, services and machine performance
- Responsible for loading and hauling from the crushing pad
- Ensure equipment availability
- Administration / Labour Management
- Assist with crushing and screening repairs, services and general maintenance within scope
- Assist with planned maintenance schedules and resource allocation
- Supply Management with relevant information on machine breakdowns, services and performance
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- B-Tech Mechanical Engineering Qualification
- Supervisory qualification will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory designation
- Proven experience in crushing and screening machinery in an opencast mining environment
