Job Summary
Description:
Hire Resolve`s client, a reputable mining company based in the Northern Cape, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their team. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the maintenance activities of the mechanical department in the mining operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of the mechanical department.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Plan and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Oversee equipment inspections and troubleshooting.
- Manage and control maintenance budgets.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the mechanical team.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Engineering Technical Trade Certificate in Boilermaking or Fitting
- N3 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a mining or plant maintenance environment
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Valid Drivers License
