About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Debtors Controller to join our team in Kempton Park, responsible for ensuring timely and accurate management of customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Document control: Filing of all sales documents
- Maintenance of document control log
- Authorisation of sales for credit sales
- Ensuring customer account is within credit limits (for cash sale) and sequence check from doc control log to ensure invoice has not been previously processed
- Collections: Allocation of debtors payments where necessary
- Follow-up on overdues
- Handover of overdue accounts for legal action where necessary
- Reconciliation of debtors accounts where necessary and maintenance by debtor of recons
- Maintenance and circulation of debtors management info
- Debtors age analysis with notes where necessary
- Keep and circulate minutes of debtors management meetings
- VAT recon monthly to Accounts department to file VAT return
- Processing of depreciation entries
- Review creditors pmt recons
