Job Summary
Qualifications:
- Matric
- Bachelor`s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Prior experience in machinery or equipment sales
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role is essential for this position
- Strong knowledge of the machinery and equipment industry, including understanding of technical
- specifications and applications
- The ability to lead and motivate a sales team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The capacity to analyse sales data and market trends
- The ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities
- Strong Customer interactions, both internal and External
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
- Analyse sales data and trends to forecast future sales volumes, ensuring proper inventory management and
- production planning
- Develop a deep understanding of the machinery and equipment being sold to effectively communicate their
- features and benefits to customers
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management
- Ensure that all sales activities and processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
