Job Summary
Goods Receiving and Inspection:
Receive incoming goods, verify quantities, quality, and specifications against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Document discrepancies or damages, promptly notifying relevant departments.
Inventory Management:
Accurately enter received items into the ERP inventory management system.
Regularly update inventory records to reflect accurate stock levels.
Conduct routine stock counts and assist in periodic inventory audits.
Storage and Organization:
Ensure proper storage of goods, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within storage areas.
Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles or other inventory management guidelines as directed.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, receipts, and discrepancies.
Generate regular inventory reports for management review.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to health, safety, and compliance guidelines.
Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to appropriate authorities.
Support and Coordination:
Liaise closely with the procurement department to ensure deliveries are correctly allocated in Syspro and ProfitFab systems.
Coordinate with sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational processes.
Provide assistance with other store-related tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Computer literacy with proven proficiency and experience in Syspro and ProfitFab.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Physical capability to handle stock items (lifting, moving, stacking).
Performance Metrics
Accuracy and timeliness of goods receipt and inventory data.
Organization and cleanliness of storage areas.
Promptness in reporting and resolving discrepancies.
